Ensure High-Quality Documentation and Coaching:
Establish high standards for planning documentation, mentor stakeholders on best practices, and create effective knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Analyze and Improve Planning Processes: Review plans, allocations, and carry-overs at the conclusion of each development cycle, iterating and enhancing planning processes while proactively identifying operational improvements and scalable solutions.
- Manage Backlog Intake and Capacity Planning: Oversee the common backlog intake process, ensure timely evaluation of opportunities, and facilitate long-term capacity, resource, and allocation planning.
Collaborate with Stakeholders and Assess Business Impact:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Product, Tech, Analytics, Program Management, Business Operations, and finance teams, to evaluate business impacts and investment requirements.
- Drive Operational Improvements and Embed Best Practices: Define and integrate product operations best practices, provide clear visibility into roadmap delivery health and OKR/KPI performance, facilitate review ceremonies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and feedback enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Professional experience as a Product Operations Manager, Business Operations Manager, Program Manager, or Product Manager.
- Strong background in business and financial analysis.
Proven experience in designing and implementing effective planning processes and operational systems to enhance efficiency.
Ability to define, develop, and manage programs that achieve measurable outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
Deep understanding of the product/tech development lifecycle, with the ability to apply Agile or traditional methodologies as needed.
Experience in analyzing issues, assessing bottlenecks, and simplifying workflows for improved team performance.
Strong communication skills to articulate the impacts, benefits, and changes of processes and programs to stakeholders, fostering understanding and trust.
Experience in developing clear, concise, and organized materials tailored to various audiences, including policies, procedures, guidelines, and presentations.
Experience in utilizing data for decision-making, including building business cases, capacity plans, and data analysis to inform decisions, as well as using data visualization tools to effectively influence stakeholders and senior leaders.
