Job Summary:
As a key member of the Paris Regional Health team, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, controlling, and directing administrative duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and staff. This role will work closely with the staffing team as needed, utilizing knowledge of medications and their administration to ensure patient safety. The ideal candidate will be able to assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families on pain management strategies. This position will also be responsible for coordinating and directing patient care, ensuring that patients' needs are met and hospital policy is followed. Daily visits to patients will be a key aspect of this role, with the ability to formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate its effectiveness. Additional duties will be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Full-time position, working days.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, control, and direct administrative duties to ensure departmental functioning.
  • Work with staffing team as needed.
  • Utilize knowledge of medications and their administration.
  • Assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques.
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies.
  • Coordinate and direct patient care, ensuring patients' needs are met and hospital policy is followed.
  • Make daily visits to patients.
  • Formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate its effectiveness.
