Clinical Care Manager

At Paris Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, directing, and coordinating administrative duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and staff. Your expertise in staffing, medication management, and pain assessment will be invaluable in providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients' needs are met and hospital policies are followed. Your ability to assess and reassess pain, utilize appropriate pain management techniques, and educate patients and families on pain management will be essential in providing compassionate and effective care. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing patient care, formulating teaching plans, and evaluating their effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, control, direct, and coordinate administrative duties to ensure departmental efficiency
- Work in staffing as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Utilize knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on patient age and clinical condition
- Assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques
- Educate patients and families on pain management
- Coordinate and direct patient care to ensure patients' needs are met and hospital policy is followed
- Formulate teaching plans based on identified learning needs and evaluate their effectiveness
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medications and their correct administration
- Ability to assess and reassess pain
- Ability to utilize appropriate pain management techniques
