Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor

TK Health is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the Sebastian County Jail in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced mental health professional to provide assessment, evaluation, and coordination of mental health care for incarcerated individuals. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field, and be licensed as a Social Worker, Marriage/Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Professional Counselor.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate mental health needs of inmates
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services
  • Coordinate care with facility and medical staff
  • Conduct substance abuse counseling and MAT services
  • Develop linkages with community mental health agencies and support services
  • Maintain safety and security of staff and inmates
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and provide mental health training for jail staff
Qualifications:

A Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field, and be licensed as a Social Worker, Marriage/Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
