Thoracic Pathology Fellowship

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Thoracic Pathology Fellow to join our team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing pathologic support services to a busy cardiothoracic surgical program with an active heart and lung transplant program.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties of a thoracic diagnostic surgical pathologist in the department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and complete at least one research, educational, or quality improvement project during the fellowship
  • Work with a team of experienced pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
  • Board certification or eligibility in anatomic pathology
  • Completion of a residency program in anatomic pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
