About the Role

MountainView Hospital is seeking a Senior Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with management teams.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support facility efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center - RN Certified, or Board Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, or Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN).
  • National Certification ANCC (required within 6 months of hire).
  • One year of applicable experience required.
