About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Aspen Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the needs of our patients and doctors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking dental x-rays and setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment.
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health, promoting a positive impact on their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction, working together to provide exceptional care and service.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in dental care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care, prioritizing teamwork and open communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification if required.
