We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Housing Assistant to join our team at the Housing Navigation Center. As a key member of our staff, you will provide critical support to our housing coordinators and other specialist roles, ensuring that our guests receive the best possible services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, utilizing trauma-informed care, person-centered, and culturally competent principles.
- Assist with intakes and assessments, as well as enter daily services into our Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
- Support guests in vital document readiness for housing and perform routine administrative tasks.
- De-escalate and mitigate any conflicts or concerns with guests, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
- Monitor and maintain the day shelter space, ensuring proper utilization of services for guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
- A competitive hourly rate of $15.60-$17.22, plus a $0.48 per hour Spanish speaking differential.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including insurance options, paid time off, and retirement plan.
