Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Lift Mechanic and Service Technician to join our team at Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain aerial boom and scissor lifts
  • Read and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Interface with service writers, supervisors, parts departments, and customers
  • Prepare documentation of actions taken
  • Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and regulations
Requirements
  • Strong diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical background
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in varying temperatures and humidity
  • Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
