Enlist as a Psychological Operations Specialist

As a Psychological Operations Specialist in the U.S. Army, you'll be an expert at persuasion and influence. You'll assess and develop the information needed to engage specific audiences and broadcast important information through various mediums. This is an entry-level position, and no experience is necessary.

Requirements:
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
  • 17 to 34 Years Old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Law Violations
  • No Medical Concerns
Training and Certifications:
  • 35 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
  • 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training
  • 10-day Psychological Operations Specialist Assessment & Selection Program following Airborne School and Psychological Operations Specialist Qualification Course, score 85 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) (active duty only)
  • 85 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) (active duty only)
  • 107 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
