Job Title: Clinical Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team at Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, and Throat. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and managing the hearing and vestibular needs of patients of all ages in a fast-paced ENT practice.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct adult and pediatric diagnostic assessments, providing coverage for ENT physician clinics.
  • Determine appropriate treatment plans, including the fitting and dispensing of hearing instruments and assistive listening devices.
  • Perform pediatric diagnostic assessments, including natural sleep ABR, DPOAEs, tympanometry, VRA, and CPA.
  • Determine appropriate treatment plans for pediatric patients diagnosed with hearing loss.
  • Evaluate hearing devices, perform repairs, and maintenance on devices.
  • Examine vestibular disorders and provide appropriate treatment and/or recommendations, including evaluation/treatment of BPPV.
  • Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss and treatment plans.
  • Document patient encounters in the appropriate EMR system.
  • Educate or train other medical staff on communication needs of the hearing impaired and topics related to hearing loss.
Qualifications:
  • Audiology doctorate or Master's degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, but we will accept a strong new Au.D. graduate following completion of an externship with extensive ENT experience.
  • Audiology license from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (required).
  • License from North Carolina State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board (required if appropriate).
  • Certification from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and/or certification from the American Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Association (ASHA) or Certification from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) (recommended).
