Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze diagnostic results to establish patient goals and modify treatment programs.
  • Provide quality and efficient speech-language-swallow rehabilitation services using current and advanced techniques.
  • Counsel patients and family members regarding patient care through team meetings and direct contact.
  • Supervise graduate students and clinical fellows, and educate health professionals in the area of specialty.
  • Develop innovative programs to enhance patient care and serve as a resource consultant to other clinicians.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable records of patient procedures, progress, and recommendations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
  • One year of relevant experience or completion of a one-year clinical fellowship.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position with a standard work schedule of 4 hours per week. The work assignment type is onsite, and the location is Raleigh, NC.
