Materials Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the program's master materials inventory database and reviewing Central Material Planning and Control (CMPC) item activity data.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor data integrity and manage data quality control to ensure accuracy and completeness of material requisitions.
- Analyze new material requisitions for accuracy and completeness prior to processing new item master record creation.
- Identify item master records to be labeled as capital equipment, create manufacturer company records, and assign spare parts to National Science Foundation (NSF) tagged asset records.
- Review Central Material Purchases (CMP) line item activity data, adjust stock level objectives, determine replenishment of requirements, and initiate procurements to meet demand inventory level.
- Collect, process, and maintain data to create program-level supply chain reports and metrics to identify and mitigate programmatic challenges.
- Monitor the external environment and internal trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the program's supply activities.
- Meet tasks deadlines while maintaining high quality of deliverables.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop procedures that are cost-effective and achieve business objectives.
- Provide detailed analysis of end-to-end CMP material management actions.
- Document, track, and report the flow of materials among various parties.
- Actively promote and train functional departments across the program in database policies and procedures.
- Maintain daily communication and actively liaise with all functional departments in multiple locations to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
- Participate in the Maximo Process Review Board (MPRB) to improve IBM Maximo master data.
- Contribute to system-related projects and create effective policies to support program processes.
- Adhere to security procedures to protect the database from any data fidelity compromise or loss of information.
- Create and review material management procedures to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
- Provide leadership and guidance to lower-level analysts, Inventory Data Specialists (IDS), and procurement planners as needed.
- Provide Maximo training for incoming personnel and annual training to deploying personnel.
- Associates Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration from an accredited university with at least six (6+) years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics; or equivalent military or civilian training in logistics with at least eight (8+) years of experience.
- Maximo or other inventory/materials management software experience is critical.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize, and execute against multiple priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and methodical skills.
- In-depth familiarity with logistics documentation including best practices for processing and maintaining logistics documents.
- Advanced-level experience and skills operating MS Office Suite, including: Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Remote/long-distance supply chain experience a plus.
