Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be able to acquire any necessary licenses or certifications mandated by local regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
- Fundamental knowledge of drink preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages is required, along with liquor certification if applicable.
- Service-oriented mindset with an understanding of customer service principles.
- A High School Diploma is mandatory.
- Previous bartending experience is necessary.
- Ensures the bar is properly set up and stocked each day.
- Responsible for the preparation and storage of garnishes, juices, and other perishables to maintain quality.
- Welcomes guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Promotes beverage orders and accurately documents them.
- Inputs orders into the point-of-sale system and generates checks for guests, including those served by other staff.
- Handles all payment transactions for beverage sales, ensuring accuracy in financial dealings.
- Secures and stores all beverage, food, and equipment items appropriately.
- Manages cash drops and ensures the security of funds.
- Conducts general cleaning duties to comply with health regulations.
- Adheres to all relevant State, Federal, and Corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by management.
