Burns & McDonnell, a leading global engineering and architecture firm, is seeking an experienced Staff Environmental Engineer to join its Environmental Services (ENS) Global Practice. This role will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, with expertise in regulatory compliance, permitting, and technical report writing. They will lead work on small and large-scale projects, including developing proposals, executing project tasks, and creating strategic plans.

In this role, the Staff Environmental Engineer will work closely with clients, resource agencies, and environmental staff to prepare environmental documents and technical studies. They will also develop and implement environmental management systems, conduct multi-media compliance auditing, and provide facility-level training.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. They will also have experience with ISO 14001 certifications, air quality permitting, and OSHA regulations, as well as proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Burns & McDonnell offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

This is a full-time position, requiring occasional travel (25-40%). The primary location is Atlanta, Georgia, but the company may require the employee to travel to other locations. A valid driver's license is required.
