Rochester Regional Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Behavioral Health department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, care, and treatment to patients in an inpatient mental health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide complex medical histories for patients referred by academic and community physicians.
  • Interact with patients, family members, and medical services support on a daily basis, requiring empathy, problem-solving, education, and counseling.
  • Prescribe medication, write orders, perform procedures, and respond to emergency changes in patient condition.
  • Obtain complete patient histories, review records, and develop comprehensive medical status, diagnosis, and clinical treatment plans.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive work environment.

Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting, and may involve moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Accommodations can be made for employees with physical requirements that require special consideration.
