Role Overview

The Clinical Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality health services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position will collaborate closely with care coordinators, supervisors, and managers to provide essential health promotion activities, referrals, assessments, and expertise around behavioral health and physical health diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and implement guidance, standard operating procedures, and desk-aids to enhance clinical operations
- Assist with crisis intervention and incident management, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all individuals and staff members
- Foster collaborative relationships with I/DD agencies and community partners to promote seamless service delivery
- Operate in a trauma-informed manner, prioritizing the well-being and dignity of individuals served

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) with 2+ years of experience serving at-risk populations or Associate's degree with 10 years of nursing experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with person-first, person-centered planning concepts preferred
