Job Summary:

As a Coffee Shop Supervisor at Jerry's Nugget, you will play a critical role in fostering an exceptional customer service environment and driving high employee productivity. You will supervise all Coffee Shop personnel and operations, ensuring compliance with Health Department standards and Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints or disputes in a fair and patient manner, providing guests with personal attention through table touches and friendly greetings.
  • Operations Management: Inform the Executive of all relevant information and irregularities occurring in the Coffee Shop, making adjustments on Food and Beverage checks when necessary.
  • Staff Management: Train employees, communicate job expectations, and monitor job results, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order to provide a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Scheduling and Attendance: Schedule employees in accordance with customer volumes, ensuring that employees maintain proper cards (Health Card, Gaming Card, Tam Card) and track and manage employee attendance on shift.
  • Leadership and Decision Making: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, making quick judgment decisions and possessing sound judgment in decision making.
Requirements:
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work in close quarters or small rooms and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, wet, and/or humid conditions.
  • Job Requirements: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving high volume production in dining, concessions, bar, and entertainment, handling intoxicated guests in a professional manner.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, crouch, twist, stretch, and kneel, withstand prolonged standing, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of food service industry experience, preferably in cost control, budgeting, training, inventory control, and sanitation.
  • Education and Certifications: Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook, and be able to type 30 wpm.
Language and Communication:
  • Language: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
