About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
  • Assist surgeons and surgeon assistants during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Help position patients on the operating table and cover with sterile surgical drapes.
  • Count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and assist with diagnostic equipment.
  • Transfer patients to the recovery room and clean and restock the operating room after procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an approved surgical technician program preferred.
  • CST certification preferred; BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the main Operating Room.
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others; demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications.
