Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling surgical instruments with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and handle surgical instruments with precision
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved surgical technician program
  • CST certification preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience in the Operating Room in Orthopaedics
  • Ability to achieve Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
