Job Title: Data and Reporting Specialist, Children's Legal Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Reporting Specialist to join our Children's Legal Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that unaccompanied children's cases are tracked and closed, and that data is collected and added to the appropriate funder's reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input event data into spreadsheets and various reporting software and databases for the Children's Legal Services Remote and ImportaMi teams.
  • Review data entered by team members to ensure accuracy and ensure completion.
  • Ensure that data is completed and entered promptly and in compliance with deadlines established by funding requirements and prepare monthly reports.
  • Provide support to Data Coordinator for monthly data updates and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality pursuant to legal ethics rules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience related to working in a non-profit legal setting or working with unaccompanied children and/or immigrant families.
  • Critical ability to manage time and demonstrated commitment to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Strong computer literacy, database, and analysis skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel, and have experience with Adobe Acrobat, and other database/reporting systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills, with a proven track record to prioritize projects with extremely keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate as part of multiple teams.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, proactive, initiative to problem solve, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred (speaking, reading, and writing).
Working Environment:

This is a remote position. Remote work is to be performed in one of the 50 U.S. states.

Compensation:

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
