About the Role

Shamrock Environmental Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective treatment and pumping of water supplies at our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor water treatment facility performance to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Make adjustments to treatment processes or pumping as required.
  • Maintain accurate operation and maintenance records.
  • Collect samples and perform physical and chemical analyses on water.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and assist with major or unusual maintenance tasks.
  • Work independently at client facilities.
  • Consult with management regarding new projects and bids.

Requirements

  • WWT certifications preferred, but will train.
  • 2-year degree preferred but not required.
  • Able to lift 5-75lbs frequently and routinely.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be willing and able to work 7 days a week, for consecutive weeks, if needed.
  • Able to pass CRT/Physical and drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with no outstanding issues.
  • Must be able to work as a team.
