Job Summary
Pilates Instructors play a vital role in supporting our members in achieving their fitness goals. They build relationships, provide educational and supportive experiences, and uphold the integrity of the Life Time brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safe and comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
- Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions, ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment.
- Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening and goal setting, to assess and recommend Pilates training programs.
- Instruct private and group Pilates classes, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Promote and sell Pilates training programs, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members.
- Complete administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
- Stay current on certifications and industry trends, educating members on health and fitness issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring members feel competent, confident, and connected.
- Document all aspects of client programming.
- Remain current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program.
- Assist members on the fitness floor, ensuring safety, providing education, and motivating members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of personal training experience.
- Experience in Pilates program design.
- Certified Pilates Trainer.
- Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- CPR and AED Certified.
Preferred Requirements
- Hours of comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair).
