Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Control Clerk to join our team. As a Production Control Clerk, you will be responsible for compiling and recording production data, revising schedules, and providing information on production progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and record production data to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
  • Revises schedule according to work order specifications, establishes priorities, and availability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from engineering departments.
  • Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.
  • Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed.
  • Sort and distributes work orders to supervisors.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • GED or High School degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to solve day-to-day problems through effective communication and interpretation.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements/Skills
  • General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices and credits.
