We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Martin Marietta. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical engineering and management support to our project management team to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Work closely with project management to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting, and job costing.
- Design Interpretation: Interpret design/drawings for craft workers installing materials to ensure specifications are followed.
- Site Management: Interface with all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality construction, and support the overall project schedule.
- Documentation: Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records, including status reports, punch lists, and sketches of work completed.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and direction regarding project material controls, including delivery dates, construction schedules, and design requirements.
- Estimating: Develop job essential data, including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man hour, and equipment to ensure accurate estimates and bids.
- Research and Analysis: Research historical data and productivity analysis reports to compile summary reports and develop guidelines for future estimates.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or 2+ years of related field experience.
