Job Summary:

MPW Industrial Services is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist to join our team. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the purity of water processed for our customers at various project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel up to 75% of the time to various project sites to maintain MPW Water Purification Equipment.
  • Act as a support function to multiple locations as needed.
  • Adhere to all Safety rules, regulations, and guidelines, including proper housekeeping.
  • Work closely with customers to troubleshoot and repair system operational problems and make corrections when appropriate.
  • Track the performance of equipment at various project sites via daily logs.
  • Perform required labor at project sites, including hose and pipe assembly, chemical drum handling, chemical transfer, filter backwashes, filter media replacement, pump maintenance, membrane cleaning, and replacement.
  • Use monitoring equipment to test water quality to ensure established standards are being met.
  • Responsible for calibration of monitoring equipment.
  • Perform water analysis and/or collect samples for preparation, labeling, and shipment to designated laboratories for analysis.
  • Complete PC-based reports on site conditions, test results, site corrections, and site deficiencies.
  • Work with PLC controls; repair pumps, instruments, and control panels.
  • Provide ongoing interface with customers to ensure they are satisfied with job performance and act as a technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Have daily communication with respective Regional Field Service Manager.
  • May be required to assist at regeneration facilities when necessary.
  • Will be required to travel (up to 75%) and work overtime as required.
  • Work independently.
  • Must be able to self-manage.
  • Track, manage, and report mileage and expense reports.
  • Overnights, weekends, and holiday work may be required.
