In recent quarters, ID.me announced it raised $132 million in Series D funding, led by Viking Global Investors with participation from CapitalG, Morgan Stanley Counterpoint, FTV Capital, PSP Growth, Auctus Investment Group, Moonshots Capital, and Scout Ventures.

This brings the total investment in ID.me to over $275 million since its founding in 2010.

Job Description

As a Senior Solution Consultant - SLED Public Sector Midwest, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing creative solutions, and supporting our customers post-go-live.

You will leverage your experience working with government agencies to become a trusted advisor to our key stakeholders and uphold ID.me as a key technology partner.

The ideal candidate must have recent experience as a software pre-sales Solution Consultant with state government agencies. Our post-sales role is Solutions Architect.

  • Leverage technical expertise with APIs, federated protocols, and Federal Agency customer environments to drive sales strategy and success
  • Diagnose and document customer technical and business requirements
  • Design and configure solutions that address customers' unique needs and offer the most value from ID.me's products
  • Develop and configure demos that position differentiated solutions
  • Quantify the business and technical value of ID.me in solving customer problems
  • Execute Proofs of Concept with complex use cases and integrations
  • Write accurate and compelling RFP content that position a unique ID.me solution
  • Craft reusable technical content such as whitepapers, playbooks, and how-tos
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the technical representative(s) at the customer
  • Mentor teammates and share technical expertise and industry knowledge
  • Distill, prioritize, and communicate product feedback to internal teams
  • Present at marketing events, trade shows, and user conferences

Salary and Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is estimated to be between $190,000-$230,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, education, relevant training, and geographic location.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of solution consulting experience directly supporting an Account Executive as a team/partner, particularly with pre-sales engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience working (preferably in a sales capacity) in the Public Sector space
  • Backgrounds with Identity Verification, or Identity and Access Management concepts and platforms will be prioritized
  • Experience with standard network security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC)
  • Hands-on experience with web development (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks)
  • Exceptional speaking, writing, and presentation skills to all audiences

  • Experience with modern software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and associated technologies
  • Practical experience with REST APIs and related technologies in real-world scenarios
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of the ID.me platform and solution

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or similar preferred
