We are currently seeking a skilled audit professional with a background in nonprofit organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage exclusively with nonprofit organizations
- Participate actively in planning engagements and tailoring audit approaches specific to nonprofit entities
- Lead and execute audit procedures in complex financial statement areas
- Identify issues related to accounting, financial statements, and reporting, adhering to professional standards including U.S. GAAP
- Research accounting treatments for issues encountered during nonprofit audits, propose solutions, and collaborate with experienced team members as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license or intent to pursue one shortly
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with nonprofit clients
- Experience with Federal Single Audits is preferred
- Reside in the greater St. Paul/Minneapolis area
