POSITION SUMMARY:

The Perioperative Nurse is responsible for tailoring care plans to ensure the delivery of safe and age-appropriate treatment for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures within an Ambulatory Surgery Facility.

This role also includes serving as a mentor, resource, and leader for fellow members of the patient care team, operating under the direct supervision of the Clinical Coordinator.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college); knowledge in a specialized field is necessary.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Possession of a valid Maryland Registered Nurse License.
  • Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association, along with ACLS certification.
