Data Infrastructure Specialist

This key role will be responsible for the infrastructure and operations of data storage solutions, third-party integrations, data provisioning services, and overall ETL/ELT code-based solutions and tooling that process data.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using custom-tooling and off-the-shelf tooling with focus on monitoring, supportability, and resource stewardship.
Design and implement complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting and transformation technologies.
Collaborate with data scientists, statistical programmers, clinical data managers, business analysts, and IT teams to accurately interpret and collaborate on data-related tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field and 5+ years related experience.
Proficient programming experience in Python and experience with general SDLC best practices, devops, and version control.
Familiarity with data orchestration, workflow tools, and database design and query optimization for responsive web applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with clinical data and regulatory governance in a pharma industry setting.
Hands-on design and configuration experience with cloud services AWS, Azure, and data governance principles and enterprise frameworks.
Fluent in Mandarin (both conversational and written).
