We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting our sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store, and as they approach the front end. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a neat and organized front end work area, and assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
  • Sales Support: Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary, and assist with training new Sales Associates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six months retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, and preserve confidentiality of information.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities, and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry terms and processes, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, and grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently.
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
