Job Summary

We're seeking a Cashier to join our team at Bealls Florida in Largo, FL. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving sales through customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting every guest with a smile and making a connection through friendly conversation
  • Operate the point of sale system accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
  • Role model our guest experience practices, adapting to different guest interactions and situations to positively impact the guest experience
  • Build guest loyalty through promoting and educating guests on Bealls credit and loyalty programs
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the register areas
Requirements
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Physical Demands
  • Able to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods and move around the store
  • Able to work varying hours and schedules, including days, mid-shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
