Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Lakeshore Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Escorting residents to and from activities, meals, and appointments
  • Providing medication assistance and monitoring resident safety
  • Documenting resident care and reporting any changes or concerns
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a geriatric care environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing
