Christus Health is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist PRN to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing cardiovascular ultrasound and evaluating the quality of data for Cardiologist interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiovascular ultrasound procedures with a high level of technical ability and expertise.
  • Evaluate the quality of ultrasound data and ensure it meets the standards for Cardiologist interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology, and pathology.
  • Relate ultrasound findings to clinically meaningful data and provide accurate reports.
  • Collaborate with Cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in Cardiac ultrasound.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
