Job Title: PRN Driver

BCFS Health and Human Services is seeking a PRN Driver to join our team. As a PRN Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of our mobile medical unit, ensuring that all equipment is functional and that the unit is maintained in excellent operating condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the mobile medical unit and ensure its functionality by conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintaining vehicle logs.
  • Ensure all equipment is functional and replace any expired supplies.
  • Adhere to state and city safety regulations and ensure compliance with agency service and safety policies.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to provide medical support and services.
  • Work independently in the field or within the mobile medical unit, meeting all deadlines required by program supervisors and federal partners.
  • Be willing to work shifts that require an adjusted schedule for events outside of the normal work week.
  • Ensure adequate physical strength to maintain and maneuver the mobile medical unit.
Requirements:
  • Current CDL-A license for operation of the mobile medical unit.
  • Ability to obtain specialized training and/or licensing in the proper operation and handling of an oversized vehicle.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • National and/or state certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic.
  • Five (5) years as a CDL-A driver.
