Position Summary
The Member Experience Associate is pivotal in delivering exceptional service and promoting sales. This full-time role focuses on AAA Smart Home sales while also supporting DMV services and providing a welcoming presence in our branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine sales, service, and operational tasks for AAA Members, including DMV services, cashiering, auto travel assistance, notary services, and insurance sales support, while adhering to established standards and policies.
- Proactively promote products and services to meet individual and organizational goals.
- Identify and address obstacles that hinder team efforts, suggesting process improvements as needed.
- Champion change while upholding AAA's core values and guiding principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven sales and service abilities, with a knack for engaging with new and existing Members.
- Strong numerical accuracy and comfort in handling cash transactions.
- Proficient computer skills, with a solid grasp of reading and basic arithmetic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Able to multitask effectively while responding to various requests and expectations.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service roles, particularly in sales, insurance, retail, service industries, call centers, or fast-paced office environments.
- Experience with sales and service standards is preferred.
- Current and valid Driver's License with a clean record may be necessary.
- Bilingual Spanish is a mandatory requirement.
Work Environment
- Work in diverse office settings, requiring periods of standing, walking, or sitting at a desk or computer.
- May involve travel to attend meetings or conferences.
- Utilization of a personal computer will constitute a significant portion of the work.
