Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on significant accounting and reporting matters.
  • Conduct thorough independent technical accounting research and analysis to provide timely insights and recommendations on strategic issues.
  • Monitor and assess new accounting standards and emerging issues, analyzing their impact on policies and standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on accounting policy matters for senior management and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of financial statements and disclosure documents to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Typically requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in a CPA firm or financial institution.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, with familiarity in IFRS being advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • In-depth research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient influencing skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
