Job Description:

Qwalifize LLC is in search of a dedicated Building Compliance Technician with exceptional communication skills. This role encompasses the evaluation of permit applications, thorough examination of documentation, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to assist various departments effectively. Comprehensive training will be provided to enhance technological skills. This position will report directly to the Building Code Official and may include additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in document organization and software application usage
  • Experience in managing permit documentation
  • Ability to offer guidance and support to colleagues

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with permitting software systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to perform light physical tasks and maintain sensory functions
  • No exposure to hazardous environmental conditions

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years in clerical or technical roles, with at least 3 years in construction or a related field
  • Certification as a Permit Technician is preferred
