Inventory Management Specialist

The Allocation Analyst, Inventory Management is a key role within Claire's, responsible for managing the timely allocation of new and repeat stock to North American stores. This position ensures sales plans are achieved and stock utilization is maximized for current and new stores.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement allocation strategies to support assortment plans and ensure consistency and accuracy of tactical actions.
• Analyze hindsight data from previous seasons to inform future allocation decisions and optimize sales and margin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build and update item/location eligibility by channel and location grade based on AP strategy and product life cycle.
• Proactively develop recommendations for in-season changes and pre-season assortment plans to ensure maximization of objectives.
• Manage the timely delivery and allocation of new and replenished stock to ensure sales plans are achieved and stock utilization is maximized.
Systems and Process Improvement
• Utilize exception management to prioritize focus on top SKUs and top Stores, and course-correct underperforming SKUs and Stores.
• Identify opportunities to maximize sales and margin through optimization of allocation strategy and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Buying and Planning teams to review and action system-generated exceptions for Core/RPL product.
