Job Description

ChemoMetec is a leading manufacturer of cell counting and analysis equipment, seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Field Application Scientist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, planning and performing product demonstrations, and generating marketing materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute product demonstrations, installations, and training sessions at end-user sites
  • Provide technical support via remote or onsite troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify key customer segments and develop strategies to increase reach and revenue
  • Develop and generate marketing, scientific, and product-relevant materials for prospective and existing customers
  • Travel to customer sites in California, neighboring states, and parts of Canada, with occasional office presence in San Diego

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or MSc in cell biology, immunology, cancer biology, or related field
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and/or fluorescent microscopy
  • GMP knowledge and/or experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
