Job Opportunity

Van Metre Companies is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at Woodland Park Apartments in Herndon, VA.

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, maximizing client satisfaction, and driving occupancy and retention. You will be the face of our residential properties and the heart of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
  • Engage in sales activities to increase traffic and occupancy
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its amenities
  • Build relationships with prospective residents through phone and email follow-up, property tours, and rental applications
  • Monitor service requests and communicate with the service team and residents
  • Plan and conduct resident events
  • Complete community inspections and report deficiencies
  • Inspect vacant apartments and report needed repairs
  • Prepare and complete sales administrative tasks and reports

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields
  • Ability to conduct community and apartment inspections in varying weather conditions
  • Weekend work is required
  • Bilingual preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
