Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at Van Metre Companies. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, maximizing client satisfaction, and driving occupancy and retention.

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and assisting with inquiries
• Engage in sales activities to increase traffic and occupancy, including grassroots marketing efforts
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its amenities, serving as a resource for current and prospective residents
• Build relationships with prospective residents through phone and email follow-up, property tours, and rental applications
• Monitor service requests and communicate with the service team and residents to ensure timely resolution
• Plan, organize, and conduct resident events in conjunction with the team
• Complete regular community inspections and report any deficiencies
• Inspect vacant apartments and report needed repairs to the service team
• Prepare and complete sales administrative tasks and reports

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or related fields
• Ability to conduct community and apartment inspections in varying weather conditions
• Weekend work is required
• Bilingual preferred

• Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills)
• Annual Bonus Potential: $5,000 annually, paid quarterly
