Job Responsibilities
  • Pest Extermination Duties:
    • Inspect client locations for pest infestations, identifying types and severity levels.
    • Develop and implement effective treatment plans using suitable methods and chemicals.
    • Apply pesticides, traps, and other control measures while adhering to safety protocols.
    • Communicate clearly with clients about their pest problems, treatment plans, and necessary precautions.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling and disposal.
    • Wear appropriate PPE while performing pest control tasks.
    • Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations, including certification and licensing.
    • Maintain clean and organized workspaces in client areas to prevent contamination or accidents.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Provide excellent customer service by explaining treatments, answering questions, and offering preventive advice.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients, offering guidance on future treatments or ongoing maintenance.
Truck and Fleet Maintenance Duties
  • Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance:
    • Conduct daily and weekly truck inspections, checking essential systems and scheduling minor repairs.
    • Schedule routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
    • Keep trucks clean and organized, ensuring all tools and pest control materials are properly stored.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
    • Report significant vehicle issues to the fleet manager or supervisor for further action.
    • Track vehicle mileage and plan maintenance schedules to avoid disruptions to daily operations.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure all trucks comply with local transportation regulations, keeping necessary documentation (registration, insurance, etc.).
    • Conduct regular safety checks on trucks and ensure drivers are trained in safe driving practices.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid pest control certification (as required by local or state regulations).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BASIC MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN VEHICLE MAINTENANCE PREFERRED.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for long periods.
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces, attics, basements, and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to handle and work with pest control chemicals safely.

This role offers an estimated salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
