Job Overview

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist role at Jamie Grayem is a dynamic opportunity for individuals to excel in the field of radiology. This position involves performing diagnostic x-rays and other exams utilizing proper technique, processing correctly marked images, and assisting Radiologists during invasive exams.

This individual will be responsible for equipment quality control, transporting patients, and setting up/cleaning exam rooms. The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist must also be available for fair share call shifts and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic x-rays and other exams with accuracy and precision
  • Processes and tracks images using radiology information systems
  • Assists Radiologists during invasive exams and procedures
  • Ensures equipment quality control and maintenance
  • Transports patients and sets up/cleans exam rooms
  • Available for fair share call shifts and performs other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess excellent technical skills and strong communication abilities. A current California CRT license, BLS certification, and California Fluoroscopy certification are required. Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities, such as CT and MRI, is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current California CRT license
  • BLS certification
  • California Fluoroscopy certification within 6 months of hire
  • Proficiency in multiple imaging modalities (CT, MRI, etc.)
