We are looking for a skilled Exterminator and Fleet Technician to join our team at Persistent Pest Solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective treatment of pests in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, as well as maintaining our fleet of company vehicles.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Job

This role requires a unique blend of technical skills and customer service expertise. You will be responsible for communicating with clients about pest problems, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pest Extermination Duties:

    1. Assess pest infestation levels in client locations and develop effective treatment plans.
    2. Apply pesticides, traps, and other pest control methods while following safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
    3. Communicate with clients about pest problems and treatment plans, providing clear explanations and recommendations.

  • Fleet Maintenance Duties:

    1. Perform daily and weekly inspections of company trucks, identifying any issues or concerns.
    2. Schedule and perform minor repairs, such as replacing wiper blades or filters.
    3. Monitor and schedule routine maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid pest control certification (as required by local or state regulations).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
