Early Intervention Supervisor

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational services to preschool students with disabilities. The successful candidate will oversee the evaluation and progress monitoring of these students, as well as plan, implement, and coordinate educational services to meet the Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:1. Supervise a team of professionals providing diagnostic and educational services, as well as paraprofessional staff supporting preschool students with disabilities.
2. Review and edit Evaluation Reports, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
3. Collaborate with Human Resources to conduct interviews and select staff, and assign long-term substitute personnel when necessary.
4. Develop and assign student caseloads to staff members to ensure efficient service delivery.
5. Plan and coordinate professional development activities to maintain staff expertise in new and effective practices.
6. Facilitate Kindergarten transition meetings with families and district representatives to ensure a smooth transition for students.
7. Foster communication among program staff, district personnel, parents, and early care and education partners.
8. Collaborate with other AIU departments and participate in AIU committees to advance the organization's goals.
9. Provide technical support and evaluate ASHA Clinical Fellows, and coordinate student teacher placements with universities.
Requirements:1. Pennsylvania Certification in Special Education, Speech and Language Impairment, or Early Intervention.
2. PA Supervisory Certification in Special Education.
3. Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience in special education or early intervention.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technologies.
6. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
7. Ability to build trust and positive working relationships with stakeholders.
8. Data-driven decision making and analytical skills.
9. Valid PA Driver's License.
Working Conditions:The physical demands of this position include lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
