Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

  • Plan of Care: Assist in initiating and revising care plans as needed, in collaboration with prescribers.

  • Therapeutic Actions: Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.

  • Intervention: Respond to changes in patient condition and report to the appropriate physician or supervisor.

  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor their effectiveness.

  • Education & Coordination: Identify areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License for the state in which you practice.

  • Health Certificate: Current Health Certificate as per facility contract or state regulation.

  • PPD or Chest X-Ray: Up-to-date PPD or Chest X-Ray.

  • BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.

  • Experience: One year of prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
