Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Time Study Engineer to join our Manufacturing department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving the efficiency of production processes within our organization. Your expertise in process improvement and time management will be essential in driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct time studies and gather data on production processes to determine the most efficient methods and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data collected during time studies to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where productivity can be enhanced.
  • Utilize software tools and systems to track and monitor productivity metrics.
  • Contribute to a people-first culture in alignment to Saab values, demonstrating core Company values: Trust, Drive, Expertise and Support.
  • Support other projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in time study methodologies, work measurement techniques, and process improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively convey ideas and recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented and highly observant to accurately capture and document time study data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production systems is preferred.
