About the Role
The Project Engineer/Procore Specialist plays a vital role in our construction projects, reporting directly to the Vice Presidents of Construction and collaborating closely with Construction Managers. This position is integral to all phases of project execution, ensuring that we deliver quality and affordable housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with Vice Presidents, Construction Managers, and Superintendents throughout all construction phases.
2. Conduct research and coordinate special departmental projects as assigned.
3. Prepare necessary reports for the Construction Department.
4. Develop and manage standard operating procedures and policies for Procore.
5. Oversee daily Procore operations, including user permissions and company directory management.
6. Work alongside the Accounting Department to enhance workflow efficiencies.
7. Ensure accurate tracking of construction budgets and expenditures.
8. Schedule and facilitate meetings as required.
9. Participate in company-sponsored events and educational activities.
10. Attend design meetings, document discussions, and follow up on assigned tasks.
11. Assist in the permitting process and fee payments.
12. Review project plans and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
13. Aid in the creation and evaluation of trade-specific scopes of work.
14. Manage bid packages and subcontractor communications through Procore.
15. Collaborate with Contracts and Construction teams to finalize contracts and purchase orders.

Collaboration with Accounting
- Ensure the accuracy of financial draws.
- Adjust budgets as necessary.
- Monitor the timing of financial draws.

Coordination with Subcontractors
- Verify timely billing and lien releases.
- Ensure prompt payment processing.
- Conduct regular project site inspections.
- Assist in tracking and processing change orders.
- Work closely with project teams on submittals and approvals.

Project Closeout
Prepare comprehensive closeout packages, including As-builts, Closeout Binders, Notices of Completion, Certificates of Occupancy, and other essential documentation.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in the construction sector, demonstrating the following skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Skilled in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong team player with initiative and the ability to relate well with others.

Physical Requirements
- Exposure to various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk on uneven surfaces, climb ladders, and operate office equipment.
