Position Overview:
The selected candidate will join a structured Engineering Support team focused on the Aero Engines and Gearboxes sector. Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research and development, testing, analysis, and characterization of materials.
- Overseeing the verification and validation processes for new materials.
- Defining technical specifications for specialized treatments.
- Performing failure analysis and investigations on damaged components.
- Collaborating with various departments such as Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Interfacing directly with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Master's degree in Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies is preferred.
- A comprehensive understanding of various materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric) and experience with characterization tests.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
